Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban Review

Author: J.K. Rowling.

Published: 8th July 1999.

Rating: 9/10.

This was a really fun novel. It follows Harry, Ron & Hermione in their third year at Hogwarts. This novel had a lot to do with the past in terms of the Marauders and their time at Hogwarts. The events during this novel have big consequences on the future especially pertaining to Wormtail and the second rise of Voldemort in future novels.

Well written with a lot of drama, humour and adventure. What I thought was interesting in this novel was Hermione’s character. I don’t know if it was like puberty or something but she was very dramatic in this novel. She had a lot of mood swings and stuff. I’m not trying to single her out just because she’s female, I just thought it was interesting. There’s a lot of drama in it and she seemed extremely stressed plus treated a bit badly by Ron and Harry.

I found it an interesting read as well as being fun and light-hearted.
